Vidyarthi Maitra – NoteBooks distribution to the students of Zilla Parishad School of Soni village in Miraj

On June 15, 2024. first day of new Academic year, students of Zilla Parishad School of Soni village in Miraj were distributed notebooks on behalf of Maitra Pariwar Trust in Mumbai. Vidyarthi Maitra Project is a project of school-related material  for the needy students with Maitra’s motto ‘I will be with you always’. Maitra has been supporting Palghar and Pune district schools through Vidyarthi Maitra for many years.

This year, for the first time, with the efforts of Milind Parchure, a member of Maitra Pariwar Trust in Miraj, school no. 1 and school no. 2. Total 1600 notebooks were distributed to 400 students of these two schools. Interestingly, Milind Parchure’s grandfather Govind Laxman Parchure, who studied at a school in Mumbai, was the sarpanch of this Soni village. He has done remarkable work for the development and educational progress of the village. On this occasion, Kumbhar Sir, Principal of the school said that Milind Parchure has done the important work of connecting umbilical cord between Soni village and Maitra Pariwar.
