Vanita Gaekwad (from tribal village) who works as a cleaner in Asmita Bhavan for the past few years, has very hearing problem in both ears. On the advice of the doctor, they started looking for the machine for both the ears, but they could not afford the price of Rs.36,000/-. They approached Shilpa Dalvi, Maitra member and within 5-6 days Maitra arranged hearing machine for her.
Machine handed over to Vanita on 29th October morning. Maitra members Mr. Santosh Dalvi, Mrs. Harsha Parab, Mr. Harish Parab, Mr. Sunil Kalkar, Mr. Sriram Kanade was present for the event.
