Shravan Maitra – Distribution of Hearing aid batteries in Pune

Maitra Parivar is a social organization in Mumbai, various activities for the society are implemented through this organisation.

It is a social organization founded by former students of Arvind Gandbhir High School, Jogeshwari, Mumbai.

They try to help the weaker sections of the society in various subjects like education, health, elderly care, environment. For this, this organisation implements various projects like Vidyarthi Maitra, Arogya Maitra, Vrudh Maitra and Shravan Maitra.

One of these activities is Shravan Maitra, Mukbadhir children are supported by various organisations. But parents have a problem in constantly getting batteries for hearing aid device.

For this purpose, this organisation provides batteries to children having hearing disability in Mumbai / Pune / Dahanu. DSV Charitable Trust of DSV global logistics is the sponsor of this project.  This organisation caters these batteries to around 700 students.

Bhave High School, Ruia Mukbadhir, Red Cross School in Pune are participating in this project.

On March 14, hearing aid batteries were given to 110 children of Aadhaar Mukbadhir Vidyalaya in Bibvewadi (near Indira Vasahat Shani Mandir) in Pune. On this occasion, Maitra member Sudhir Kalkar, senior businessman and social worker Mr. Prakashji Gore, Rameshji Raterekar and Pratik Gore were present.

Mr. Sachin Shinde, Purwatai Mahale, Vijaykant Kuchekar, Sou Thakar, Vikas Rajguru and other teaching staff of Aadhaar Mukbadhir Vidyalaya were present.
