DSV Logistics

  •  In the year 2021 , when Maitra Launched its unique Shravan Maitra Program one of our Maitra associates could connect DSV logistics through Mr. Gurunath Ajgaonkar

Mr Gurunath, head of finance at DSV Logistics Mumbai, showed interest in our project, personally discussed the concept, idea and plan of execution. After understanding the details , impressed with the uniqueness of the project to support poor students who are unfortunately facing challenges related to hearing impairment.

He coordinated wholeheartedly with DSV’s charitable trust who sanctioned 22,500/- at that point of time. Though Maitra Pariwar was registered trust even at that time but was awaiting approval for 12 A and 80 G. Mr. Gurunath assured our team that once the said approval is received, DSV can support more positively as for corporate CSR, certain documents are mandatory.

On receiving formal approvals from the authority we once again approached Mr.Ajgaonkar and on submitting all the formal documents DSV charitable trust immediately sanctioned battery sets for one year for 250 students which amounted to 2,00,000/-

  • The generous support from DSV has motivated Team Maitra and this year in the year 2022-23 we have 400 Plus registration and this includes Students from Tribal areas like Dahanu. We acknowledge and extend our appreciation to team DSV , special thanks to Shri Gurunathji for genuine coordination on behalf of our team.

This is our first ever CSR project execution and we stand committed to ensure the financial support reaches the end needy students effectively and meets the objective for which Shravan Mitra project is intended for.

This winter, Bharti Foundation of Intech Pune Company provided 110 sweater jackets to the children of Mukbadhir School in Dahanu on 10 December 2022 through Maitrapariwar. Also, sweater jackets were distributed to 102 children of Ruia Karnabadhir School and 26 children of Bhave High School in Pune. Maitra Pariwar will be indebted to Bharti Foundation for the trust reposed in Maitra Parivar to bring warmth to the lives of these special students from remote areas.
